Of Beasts and Bodies (2023)

Waves and wisps of flesh circulate through each work, at times becoming corporeal. Beasts wander with an air of nonchalance, only faltering to make eye contact with the viewer. My paintings are confronting visualisations of a post-humanist dysphoria; an alternate reality where humanity is absent. The ‘beasts’ and ‘bodies’ are contrived to provoke thoughts that violate imagination and separate humanity from nature.
